Personal Data Protection

Our identity as data controller, the principles of processing personal data and your rights under the KVKK.

As ÖLÇER İNŞAAT ELEKTRİK VE TİCARET ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (the “Company”), we act as data controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698 (“KVKK”). This notice explains for what purpose the personal data you submit through our website is processed, to whom it may be transferred, and what rights you have.

2. Personal data processed

Only the following data is processed through the contact and quotation form on our website:

  • Identity data: first name and surname
  • Contact data: e-mail address, phone number
  • Professional data: the company or institution you work for (optional)
  • Request content: the subject you select and any information you provide in the message field
  • Transaction security data: date and time of submission together with browser and device information — your IP address is not recorded

No special categories of personal data (health, religion, membership, etc.) are requested in the form; please do not include such information in the message field.

Apart from these, no tracking data is collected for browsing, click or profiling purposes — see section 9.

The job application form on our careers page additionally processes the following data:

  • Identity and contact data: full name, e-mail address, phone number
  • Professional data: the field of interest you select and the information contained in the CV document (PDF) you upload
  • Request content: any information you provide in the cover note field

Please do not include special categories of personal data in your CV (health information, criminal records, trade union or association membership, religion, biometric data, etc.); such data is not used in our recruitment assessment.

3. Purposes of processing

  • Evaluating the quotation, information and cooperation requests you submit
  • Responding to your request and communicating with you
  • Conducting pre-contractual negotiations and the commercial relationship
  • Fulfilling our legal obligations and retaining records of requests
  • Assessing your job application, matching it with open positions and keeping it in our application records

Unless you expressly request it, your data is not used for marketing or newsletter purposes.

4. Legal basis

Your personal data is processed by automated means upon your submission of the form, based on the following legal grounds under Article 5 of the KVKK: your explicit consent (Art. 5/1), the fact that processing is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c), and our legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-f).

5. Transfer of data

Your personal data is not shared with third parties for commercial purposes. Limited transfer may occur only in the following cases:

  • Our hosting and e-mail service provider established in Türkiye, within the scope of hosting and e-mail services
  • Public institutions and judicial authorities legally authorised to request it

Your personal data is not transferred abroad.

6. Retention period

Data submitted through the contact and quotation form is retained for a maximum of 2 years from the conclusion of your request. For requests that turn into a commercial relationship, the retention periods set out in the applicable legislation apply (10 years under the Turkish Commercial Code and the Tax Procedure Law). At the end of the period the data is automatically deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Job applications: CVs and application details submitted through the careers form are retained for at most one year from the date of application so that they can be considered for open positions; at the end of this period they are automatically deleted together with the CV file. If you request deletion before that period ends, your application is removed from our records immediately. CV files can be accessed only by authorised personnel.

7. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to apply to the Company to:

  • Learn whether your personal data is processed and request information if it is
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose
  • Know the third parties to whom the data is transferred
  • Request correction if the data is incomplete or inaccurate
  • Request erasure or destruction where the conditions are met
  • Request that correction, erasure and destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred
  • Object to an outcome to your detriment arising from analysis carried out exclusively by automated systems
  • Claim compensation for damage suffered due to unlawful processing

You may withdraw your explicit consent at any time.

8. How to apply

You can send your requests, together with documents verifying your identity, by e-mail to bilgi@olcerenerji.com or in writing to the address above. Applications are concluded within 30 days at the latest, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller.

9. Cookies and third-party services

No advertising, marketing or tracking cookies are used on our website; all content including fonts is served from our own server and no requests are sent to third-party services.

The only cookie used is the language preference cookie that remembers which language the site should be displayed in; it stores no data that could identify you. You can delete cookies from your browser settings.
